The first "Congress on Knowledge and Technology Transfer (Know-TT) – Debating on Challenges and Opportunities of Professional Training" will take place at TU Berlin's Campus El Gouna from 3rd to 5th September 2013. Knowledge transfer is without a doubt an important requirement for successful technology transfer between countries. The Know-TT Congress to take place at TU Berlin’s satellite campus in El Gouna, Egypt, will focus on knowledge transfer as an important requirement for the transfer of technologies, and on challenges and opportunities for sustainable solutions in this context. The 2nd Community Forum El Gouna 2030 continues the series of academic events that take place in the Campus El Gouna of Technische Universität Berlin besides the Master's Degree Programs started in October 20121. The Community Forum El Gouna 2030 was established in September 2012 as result of the Future Workshop El Gouna 2030. The Community Forum El Gouna 2030 is a platform for a continuous and systematic presentation and discussion of strategic topics of the urban development of El Gouna and its neighborhood in the Red Sea Region. In particular the Community Forum promotes and supports the development of El Gouna to a Green City. Meeting of German and Egyptian Dean took place at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna

The event “Academic Self Government on the Level of Faculties as a Fundamental Element of Democratic Universities” took place at TU Berlin’s Campus El Gouna from 17th and 20th May 2012. Around 35 representatives of Egyptian and German universities participated in the event which was financed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
